SEO 2017: Hoe word ik gevonden op het internet?

Dat is de grote vraag die veel bedrijven bezighoudt. Ik heb SEO 2017 gelezen van Adam Clarke en geef je hierbij de samenvatting, mijn notities en quotes die mij aanspraken.

Meestal staan de grootste lessen achterin een boek. Die geef ik nu alvast, bespaart je wat tijd. 🙂

Het Google algoritme is complex en niet te doorgronden, aangezien Google hier nauwelijks uitspraken over doet. Aan de hand van dit algoritme geeft een PageRank score aan jouw website van 1 t/m 10.

Grofweg weten we dat de volgende strategie werkt.

Vertrouwen, Authoriteit en Relevantie

1. Trust. Websites van weinig kwaliteit krijgen een lager score. Hoogwaardige content en backlinks van betrouwbare bronnen maakt een hogere ranking zeer waarschijnlijk.
2. Authority. In welke niche zit jouw business en hoeveel volgers heb jij via Social Media. It’s a numbers game.
3. Relevance. Google kijkt naar de relevante context van de zoekopdracht, daarom kan bijvoorbeeld een niche site of lokale website/bedrijf de voorkeur krijgen boven Wikipedia.

10 punten waarop Google de PageRank score bepaald.

1. Relevante keywords aanwezig op pagina.
2. Keywords in interne links.
3. Gebruikers signalen, Click Through Rate (CTR), Time on Site en Bounce rate
4. Zoekvolume van de domeinnaam.
5. Totale aantal Backlinks.
6. Totale aantal van referende domeinnamen.
7. Google+ Social Media activiteit.
8. Facebook Social Media activiteit.
9. Site Structure, is de website goed doorzoekbaar voor Google.
10. Laadtijd van de website.

Focus keyword strategieën

Long tail keywords, 3 of meer woorden.

Informational keywords, hoe werkt…… top 10 haarverzorgingsproducten etc

Transactional keywords, bomberjack kopen of goedkoopste sokken kopen
